Hello again.  It's been a while.

I decided to check in today.

Today.

Today, I am going to a friend's wake.

This is the third funeral I've attended in my life.  And all three funerals are for young individuals who left the world too early.

You often hear the saying that a parent should never have to bury their own child.  And yes, it's a terrible shame when they have to.  This is the third time I have to witness that.

I hate knowing that my friend is no longer around.  I hate it even more knowing that he's left behind so many people who love him so much.

Always with a pure heart and a pure soul, you are surely missed.

Today, I will say goodbye to you.

Hi Bo! Haha... I don't really check Xanga anymore at all. I was just feeling super reflective because of the above incident. I guess I may update xanga whenever I feel reflective or when I want to vent to the select few people left on xanga.

It is sad.

At first, i thought you were referring to xanga symbolically...but it was for someone in real life.

Sometime, you wonder what life would be like if that person is still around. Would you and that person share a more memories.

What would you do differently if you knew that friend of your have a small time to live?

There very few things in the world that is worse than for a parent lose their child. As much as it is hard on you, it probably much worse for the parent, her brother and sisters and relatives.

I remember my first one. It feels like i was in a dream. I remember that i keep thinking that me and that person would talk again. Maybe it was self-denial, but i learn to accept it and to live life better. At least that how i felt....

I never understood why he left on his own.

I wish you the best in your trouble times Tran and i hope you will reserve xanga for your more personal thoughts on events throughout your life.
